Here is a video clip of MEH playing some music and saying "hi" to everyone before bed. Sorry the clip is a little long (about 4 min)-- I tried to edit the size, but haven't quite figured it out.

Great idea Emily. As this family grows, it's going to be harder and harder to get us all together. This seems like a good way to keep in touch.

My sister-in-law, Ruth Gorton (Larry's wife) has been doing a painting each day which she e-mails to many of us in the early morning.  Like all art, some works are more appealing than others.  (See sample at left)

Ruth has recently posted a website, www.ruthgorton.com, as a fundraiser for a local charity in Portland ME.  It may be worth a look if you are interested in art.

I am sitting here with Uncle John and he wants to tell you all that he is going to help Uncle David build a brick walk and a pergola this week. He just arrived from Georgia and the first thing he said was that the temp down there is presently 70. Susan is sitting on the back of the boat.

Here is the Gorton family w/ Mary Elizabeth on David's back in Central Park, New York City, September 14, 2008 participating in the Race for the Cure.  We were part of the Lion Heart team of about 60 people organized by our friend, Kathleen van Rijn, a breast cancer survivor.

Our team raised over $30,000 for the Susan G. Komen foundation!

I wanted to start a family blog because I just don't get to talk to all of you enough! I hope you think this is a good idea, too.
