Geneology update!

Here is what I did today!

Hans Kaspar Schnebli from Affoltern Am Albis, Canton, Zurich Switzerland was born 23 Apr 1702 and died in Lancaster, PA on 10 Oct 1778. He married Barbara (I only have her first name). They had John Snavely.

John Snavely (1747 -20 May 1816) married Eva Brandt (1741-1810) of Lebanon, PA. They had Henry Snavely.

Henry Snavely (1768-1846) married Anna Light (1793-1860). They had Joseph Snavely.

Joseph Snavely (1818-1892) married Elizabeth Brandt (1826-1904). They had John S. Snavely.

John S. Snavely (1846-?) married Mary Bomberger (1849-?). They had Edmund Snavely.

Edmund Snavely (1880-1967) married Maude Daniel. They had Jane Snavely, Grandma! Who, of course, married Henry Lentz!

Well, that's all I have for now. If any one know's the name of Grandpa's father's father, that would be very helpful!

Thanks.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.  Here is a picture of David and Ava sledding on our lawn Christmas Day.  Fortunately Matt was at the bottom of the hill to catch them!

Need a Little Help!

Hi everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! Chad and I enjoyed a quiet holiday. My favorite aspect of the holidays is the free time provided by vacation, an element not present at any other time of the year. Consequently, the millions of projects that fly through my head (often coming to nothing) are allowed to slow to a stop at the forefront of my mind. My point? Mom gave me my baby book, and in the front is a list of my parents, grandparents, and some names I never heard, great grandparents. I've always wanted to know more about where my family and I come from. So, I'm asking for information. What do you know about these people? Who were their siblings? When were they born? When did they die? Where did they come from? What did they do for a living? What were they like?

I know Sarah did a paper with Grandpa when she was in college (I'll be digging for a copy of that). Did anyone else do something like this, even in elementary, middle school?

So far, I have found that I have family members that came from Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, Czechoslovakia (now Serbia, I think). I had no idea I was so diverse!!!

What beautiful names my family has: Maude, Edmund, Mary, Jane, Henry, Julia. And how many spellings there are of Snavely! - SCHNAEBELE, SCHNABELE, Schneebeli, SCHNEWLI, SCHNEBELY, SCHNEBELI, Snevely, Sneably!

OK, well I hope I can do more with this before vacation ends and over the summer as well. So, Any names, dates, locations, relationships, etc. would be much appreciated!

Thanks
